Hello! There's a pretty good chance that you've arrived at my website because I shoved a bookmark in your hand as you walked by. There's also a pretty good chance that you're here because you threw my bookmark in the garbage, and now you feel guilty about doing so. But, hey! At least you're here. Allow me to introduce myself. (:
My name is A.G. Stoll IV, but you can call me Carli. I spent today at Belmar Bookcon, which is where we initially met. (But you knew that already.) I've written two books, Flattened and Dare Me Not. Out of the two, I would recommend Flattened. I like blue, as you probably saw by both my table and website. My day went a little something like this:
7:30- Wake up. Although, I didn't actually get out of bed for another fifteen minutes.
9:00ish- I arrived at the Bookcon! My parents and I set up the table, and then went to the bagel shop to get bagels and coffee. I also met a few of my fellow authors there. (I suggest you check out their websites as well.)
10:00-3:30- The Bookcon! I talked to many people, gave away quite a few bookmarks, and sold some books. *cough* buy Flattened *cough* Many of my family members and friends came to see me, along with one of my favorite English teachers. It was such an amazing experience; I can't believe it ended.
4:00- The Bookcon ended): I gave a few copies of Flattened to Paperback Exchange (which I signed) so they could sell them. *wink wink nudge nudge*
And you, I'm sure your day went along pretty well. You attended the fair, met a few authors, went home. (It might not have gone precisely like that.)
Thank you for visiting my website! And taking my bookmark! And maybe, just maybe, buying one of my books.
Much love,
Carli.
